Next Saturday, September 1, the celebration of the 700th anniversary as mayor of Las Torres de Cotillas will be the protagonist of the National Lottery.
"The tenth will carry the logo of our traditional tourist campaign 'Come and Stay', which we have been running for many years," explains the mayor Isabel María Zapata, who highlights "the effort that has taken to achieve it and the illusion that has been achieved the objective".
In this way, the state society Lotteries and State Betting honors in a very special way this event, whose commemoration has the motto '1318-2018, from Qutiyyas to Las Torres de Cotillas'.
"The anniversary is specifically commemorated at the end of this year and various activities have already been carried out, such as the cycle of free concerts in the municipality that has played the municipal music band," says Zapata.
In addition, the local council has proposed various cultural proposals, such as lectures and publications on local history, twinnings, concerts, exhibitions of Torreño artists ... A program coordinated by the official chronicler of the village Ricardo Montes.
