The festivities in honor of Our Lady of Fatima in the neighborhood of Los Pulpites of Las Torres de Cotillas concluded last Wednesday, August 15 with a day dedicated entirely to the patron saint.
In the morning, a mass was celebrated in honor of Our Lady of Fatima, who in the afternoon starred in the traditional procession - attended by the mayor of Torrena, Isabel María Zapata - through the streets of the neighborhood.
At its conclusion, a large fireworks castle put an end to the festivities.
Some festivities that this year celebrated their 60th anniversary (1958-2018) and that had begun on Monday, August 13, with two proposals: a traditional children's games at dusk and a big froth party with a minidisk at night.
The fairground, located in the park of the neighborhood in front of the gym, hosted on Tuesday, August 14, an evening marked by traditional Murcian cuisine.
And it is that for dinner the attendees enjoyed the festival of blood sausage, with tasting of this sausage so typical of our region.
To accompany this banquet, the singer and showman José Damián offered a performance also with free assistance.
