The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has begun the first phase of the works of adaptation of the urban environment of the commercial area of Los Vicentes, a performance that has a budget close to 30,500 euros.
"The type of pavement of the sidewalks will be changed, replacing hydraulic terrazzo with prefabricated concrete paving slabs, as well as renovating the benches and placing new urban furniture, such as bins or muppies", explains the Town Councilor for Maintenance of the City , Inmaculada Fernández.
In addition, a cement mortar between the facades and the paving stone will be made to avoid problems of humidity in the houses.
"The" Las Torres Commercial Area "requested changes regarding the initial project, such as the replacement of slab by paving stone and the placement of a different bank model, before which the City Council has made a contribution of municipal funds to cover the economic difference" , explains the mayor, who points out that the bulk of the investment comes from a subsidy from the regional government.
Second stage
To carry out the second phase of these actions, the Torreño City Council is awaiting the allocation of a new regional subsidy.
"We have requested a game of 25,000 euros and have informed us that the beneficiaries of these aids are about to be announced," says Zapata.
