This contest, organized by the Department of Culture in collaboration with the Torreño amateur theater group 'Tejuba', proposes 2,000 euros for which four amateur groups will compete throughout the month of October.
The works in competition, which will have an entry of 3 euros and will be performed at 9:00 pm, will continue on October 13 with the contribution of 'Maru-JASP' (Alcalá de Henares), whose members will interpret 'If something can happen, although It seems unlikely, it just happens inevitably. '
In addition, on October 20 will be the turn of the 'Cía.
Teatro en Construcción '(Elche), which will take the stage' Huanita ', and close' Almagra Teatro (Mula) with the representation of 'Baldosas' on October 27.
The closing of this theatrical contest for amateur groups from all over Spain will take place on Saturday, November 10, at an evening with free admission in which the prizes will be awarded to the best.
"In addition, our 'Tejuba' will represent the work 'Bajar al moro' as an artistic culmination to the contest," says Cabrera.
Important prizes
The prizes set by the organization amount to about 2,000 euros and will be distributed as follows: 1,000 euros and trophy for the best show;
200 euros and trophy for the best actor and actress;
100 euros and trophy for the best address;
and 100 euros and trophy for the best actress and supporting actor.
"We are sure that, as every year, the level of the participating companies will be very high and the public will enjoy the best amateur theater that can be seen today in Spain," says Torreña Mayor Isabel María Zapata.
