The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has been recognized by the University of Murcia (UMU) for the high degree of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on its municipal website.
In a study that was presented today, Thursday, October 11, the chair of CSR of the UMU has awarded an average score of 8'2, just behind Cartagena (8'4) in a study whose average is 5'2.
With the title of 'Key Results of the Corporate Social Responsibility Research (CSR) in the 24 municipalities with the largest population in the Region of Murcia', this project has analyzed a total of 132 indicators divided into four blocks: ethical approach and CSR, economic and financial information, social and contracting aspects, and environment and sustainability.
"It is a recognition of the work we do to communicate and render accounts to our neighbors in the most transparent manner possible, offering information that is not even required by law," says the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who has attended the meeting.
