The Civil Guard has celebrated in Las Torres de Cotillas on Friday morning, October 12, the feast of the Virgen del Pilar, its patron saint.
And he has done so with a Mass in his honor, officiated at the church of Our Lady of La Salceda by its titular parish priest, Ismael Sánchez, who has had a large attendance.
Among those present, the mayor of Torrena, Isabel María Zapata, the mayor of the neighboring town of Alcantarilla, Joaquín Buendía, and the lieutenant of the position that the Benemérita has in the municipality, Alejandro Gómez.
A tribute to the Virgin of the Pillar in which neighbors of the town have also participated, agents as much of the Civil Guard as of the Local Police and authorities of the municipal corporation.
"The Civil Guard has since 2013 with a position located in the Local Security Center of the municipality, which shares with the Local Police, and from which serves the surrounding municipalities," explains Zapata.
