The youth group of the club 'Ritmica Las Torres' continues to add sporting achievements.
The most recent has been the classification for the Championship of Spain to be held from November 8 to 11 at the Palace of Sports of Murcia.
"They won the ticket in the regional championship base that took place a few days ago in San Javier", explains the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez.
The Torreñas were proclaimed regional champions last season, an achievement that allowed them to ascend to the national base category.
"They were also runners-up in the regional league, which shows the great level of these athletes," says Pérez.
"In our town there are many young people who practice rhythmic gymnastics and the 'Ritmica Las Torres' concentrates and energizes this activity, counting with members like this team that we are very proud of," highlights the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
