The athlete Torreño Antonio Brao was awarded by the Federation of Badminton of the Region of Murcia (FEBAMUR) during the celebration of the 'II Sports Gala' of the Union of Sports Federations of the Region of Murcia (UFDRM), which took place on last Tuesday October 16 at the theater 'Romea' of Murcia.
Brao directs the school of the 'Badminton Las Torres' club, is secretary of the FEBAMUR and competition director, as well as member of the assembly of the Spanish Badminton Federation, national badminton coach, BWF level I coach and national referee judge.
"In addition, he is a player in his category of veterans is a reference, as evidenced by his 12 regional titles throughout his career or more recently his two medals in the European," says the councilor of Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez, who was tucking Brao in the event.
"With this award they wanted to recognize the support that Antonio provides to the Federation, as well as their effort, perseverance and dedication to this sport", highlights the mayor.
