The Municipal Office of Consumer Information (OMIC) of Las Torres de Cotillas has held on Monday morning, October 29, an informative day for the students of Vocational Training of the IES 'La Florida' of the municipality.
The person in charge of the service, Francisco Juan Sanchez, has explained to the Torreño schoolchildren the main characteristics of their functioning and of the tools that the consumers have to defend their rights.
"The City of Las Torres de Cotillas puts special interest in support for consumers, providing this service that throughout the year ensures their rights and that has an excellent assessment by users," says the mayor, Isabel María Zapata
Consumer arbitration
A Torrena office that is the county seat of the Consumer Arbitration Board, providing coverage with the virtual system to the residents of Alguazas, Ceutí, Lorquí and Javalí Nuevo.
"It is an extrajudicial system where disagreements of an economic or similar type are resolved between consumers and businessmen, businesses or professionals," the councilor explains.
