More than 50% of the students who have finished the cycle of higher degree of International Trade in the IES 'La Florida' of Las Torres de Cotillas already work in companies throughout the region dedicated to export.
"These data show that this profile of professional training, which offers quality training with a high specialization in languages, is very demanded in the labor market," says the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who stresses that "many of these incorporations are they produce in the same companies where the students carry out their internship period ".
The sectors in which these technicians work are mainly consultants in international trade, market research, food, integral engineering projects, sports equipment, freight forwarding companies, transportation and cosmetics.
"In addition, according to the data provided by the center, there is a high percentage, which reaches 35%, of students who after graduating continue to study and join the University or improve their foreign languages," says Councilor for Education, Pedro Cabrera .
A useful professional branch
In the Torreño center the Vocational Training studies of this professional branch currently have a total of 96 students, divided into the two courses of the intermediate degree in Commercial Activities and in the two courses of the higher level of International Trade.
