Torreón Paqui Dólera, from the local triathlon club 'Ergobike-Manubike', will be awarded next Saturday, November 24 in Águilas during the 2018 gala of the triathlon federation of the Region of Murcia.
"Paqui has been the winner of the regional circuit in female veteran category 1 and for that great achievement we congratulate her," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
"Of a total of 94 women who have participated this year in the megaliga circuit of triathlon and duatlonde the region of Murcia I was the 14th, second classified in the general category female veteran 1 where we were 16, and first classified VF1 if we stick only to triathlon ", explains Paqui.
"Paqui participates in triathlons, duathlons and races, and is currently preparing with several colleagues for the marathon of Valencia that is celebrated on December 2," says Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez.
Another winner of the club
In this gala another athlete from the Torreño club will be awarded, presided over by Pedro José López and who has more than 20 athletes.
This is Francisco José López, who has been second in the national triathlon-cross PTS4 and duathlon-cross PTS4, second in the European aquatlon PTS4 and third in the European championship of triathlon-cross PTS4y duatlon-cross PTS4.
