The neighborhood center of Los Pulpites of Las Torres de Cotillas has been the scene of a free risk prevention course aimed at municipal staff of Torreño City Council.
"The assistants have been cleaning workers and polyvalent workers, who have attended these classes for four days during the morning," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who attended the closing ceremony on Wednesday, November 28.
Attendees have received training in matters such as risks and specific measures in the workplace, work equipment and individual protection specific to the sector, use of chemical products, exposure to biological pollutants, handling of cargo or first aid manual, evacuation and fire protection.
Organized by FeSP-UGT in collaboration with the local Consistory, the course was taught by María José Partera, senior occupational risk prevention technician, specializing in ergonomics and applied psychosociology, safety and hygiene.
