Today, December 3, the International Day of People with Disabilities is commemorated and Las Torres de Cotillas went ahead to celebrate a great festive day at the Paco Rabal Park yesterday.
Organized by the association 'Sherezade Color Esperanza', in this event designed especially for children, various educational workshops were held, inflatable mats, dance performances and a small march for the benefit of the entity.
"Currently 15% of the world population has some kind of disability and it is very important to work together for the social integration of these people and to make them happier," explains the councilor of the area, María Dolores Sánchez, who attended the event.
"We thank the association and its president Magdalena López for the organization of this day", points out the mayor.
