In April 2016, a motion presented by CITIZENS was approved unanimously for the settlement (in 2017) of the impoverished and central garden of Cristóbal Colon Street.
That large garden, next to the center for the elderly and Consum supermarket, is seriously damaged and totally abandoned by the City Council, although it is in the inventory of green areas and with a supposed cleaning maintenance.
The government team committed in writing to proceed with its reform in 2018, something that has not happened.
Even the garden has degraded even more, giving a sad and deplorable image.
Given the proximity of some buildings with high transit of step could be a park with great possibilities and that the neighbors would appreciate.
This breach, another one, of the compromise reached with the government team of the Popular Party, was pointed out by the municipal group of CITIZENS in the speech of budgets of the past full ordinary.
As was indicated, the request by the municipal group, not only to demand responsibilities to the garden maintenance company but the termination of the concession, for breach of contract.
CITIZENS demand that once and for all proceed to the arrangement of the garden, which we assume they will do before the election, as usual by the Popular Party.
We also urge that the PP comply with its commitments and not continue to deceive the neighbors.
