The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has already begun the works of installing a marquee in the external parking of vehicles of the Local Safety Center.
"They will serve to protect the vehicles used by both the Local Police and the Civil Guard, which are the two security bodies that share these facilities," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who notes that this measure has a municipal investment of 15,000. euros from the surplus for the year 2017.
"This surplus, which amounted to more than 743,000 euros, is being reversed in increasing the welfare of our neighbors through different projects in the municipality," says Zapata.
Among these initiatives highlights the improvement of various parks and municipal gardens, the development of a computer application (APP) to optimize the service to the citizen and an urban renewal plan with several actions, including strengthening the road to improve traffic.
"In addition, it is going to expand the equipment of the security forces, with the purchase of two cars for the Local Police and a car and a drone for Civil Protection", informs the Councilor for Police and Civil Protection, Pedro José Noguera.
