Jesús Molina, member of the 'Athletics Las Torres' club, was awarded the silver medal in the category of M45 veterans (over 45 years old) of the Spanish trail championship held recently in Cehegín.
The fifth edition of this national mountain race event was held in framed in the 'IX Falco Trail City of Wonders', where Molina finished the route of 48'9 kilometers with an outstanding time of 6:17:13.
"The time of Jesus was very good and earned him to be the 35th in the overall general classification," says Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez, who notes that along with Molina disputed the test two more runners Torreńo club , José María Fernández and Ángel Carrasco, who finished with a time of 8:52:21.
"We congratulate Jesus for his great result, with which he succeeds in raising a little more the sport of our municipality and being an example to be followed by all, especially by the youngest," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
