Tomorrow, Sunday, December 23 (7:00 pm), the fifth edition of the Christmas festival of flying lanterns in the municipality will be held in the Adolfo Suárez plaza in Las Torres de Cotillas.
"This year we have decided that the Associations of Mothers and Parents of Students (AMPAs) of the municipality are the beneficiaries, who are being in charge of carrying out their sale entirely," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
An appointment in which to warm up engines there will be activities for children, such as inflatable games, paint and popcorn.
The tickets will begin to be exchanged for lanterns at 5:00 pm, when the remaining lanterns will also start selling.
"They have put on sale 3,000 units at a price of 3 euros, whose full collection will be for the AMPAs of the schools of Infant and Primary of the municipality, in addition to the two institutes of Secondary", informs the Councilor of Celebrations, Amalia Pérez , whose area organizes this act.
Double objective
"With this event we are looking for two objectives: on the one hand, to promote a Christmas celebration that has been taking place for five years in Las Torres de Cotillas and which is increasingly accepted, and, on the other hand, that the collection always benefits the children and girls of the municipality ", highlights the mayor.
