The neighbors of Las Torres de Cotillas challenged in the afternoon of Saturday, December 29, the bad weather to celebrate New Year's Eve in advance and with much desire to have fun.
It was at a great open-air party that took place in the Maestro Don Ángel Palazón esplanade, where there was no lack of music, cotillion, a cider tasting and, of course, the traditional grapes with their chimes included.
"It was the first time that the City Council organized this celebration, designed for all ages and for Torrena and Torrena could enjoy this party in a different way with friends and neighbors," says the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
With much desire
Dances, joy, laughter, conviviality, fun and joy were the main ingredients of this family celebration of tardeo.
There were also moments in which to enjoy the launch of artificial snow and a large fireworks castle illuminated the sky Torreño as a climax to the event.
"Although, unfortunately, the cold and the intermittent rain reduced attendance to this party, those of us who were there took a lot of pleasure and had a great time, and we hope it will be an activity that will be established at Las Torres de Cotillas Christmas", highlights the Councilwoman of Celebrations, Amalia Pérez, whose area organized the event.
