The body of Civil Protection of Las Torres de Cotillas has begun a series of free talks on first aid in the Salvador Sandoval IES of the municipality, which will be extended until next February 1.

"They have a theoretical part that explains the concepts of basic life support and then another practice on airway clearance with the Heimlich maneuver and cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques (CPR)," they say from this municipal service.

"It is important that our young people are trained in first aid so they can respond positively to situations of risk where a quick response is the difference between life and death," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
