The counselor of the Presidency, Pedro Rivera, received today at the San Esteban Palace the students and professors of the 'Salvador Sandoval' Institute, from Las Torres de Cotillas, distinguished in the latest edition of the annual awards given by the Foundation for Victims of Terrorism for their continued participation in them, and for having won awards on three previous occasions.

Rivera, who held a conversation with the students, stressed that "the memory of the victims of terrorism and the pre-eminence of the values ​​of peace, freedom, tolerance and life in the face of hatred, violence and death are present. annually with the awards granted by the Foundation and which currently bear the name of one of its founders: Ana María Vidal-Abarca, "and highlighted that" the Salvador Sandoval Institute is a clear proof of the importance it has, since the youngest ages, from the years in which the citizen of tomorrow is being forged, the not resounding to violence ".

The counselor concluded that "this is the way to look for that better society to which we all aspire, and for which we must walk in the search for formulas of agreement, mediation in conflicts to banish violent practices;

paths for dialogue and encounter that avoid confrontation and disagreement ".
