A neighbor from the area found him and moved him to the Civil Guard
Agents of the Nature Protection Service (SEPRONA) moved the animal to the Wildlife Recovery Center El Valle where, through the microchip, they were able to locate and reintegrate the animal to its owners
The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed some investigations that have allowed the recovery and delivery to its owners of a yaco parrot that disappeared on the day of Kings from an address in Las Torres de Cotillas.
Agents of the Service of Protection of Nature (SEPRONA) of the Benemérita were notified of the delivery, in police units of Las Torres de Cotillas, of a parrot (Psittacus erithacus) that a neighbor of the municipality had found.
This citizen, in the belief that the animal could have been lost from the hands of its owners, gave it to the Civil Guard.
The Civil Guards transported him to the Wildlife Recovery Center of 'El Valle' where, after his examination and through the ring that registers the corresponding information, they found out the identity of his owner.
Finally, the Civil Guard has located its owners and has delivered the lost animal in perfect condition.
It is a species in danger of extinction for whose possession is required the corresponding permit and that, in addition to the economic cost, had a great sentimental value for its owners, who feared a fatal outcome when dealing with a species that lives in warm climates, little adapted to the low temperatures of these dates.
