The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has scheduled a course in metallurgical operations for the unemployed, an initiative that has the collaboration of the Crown Food company and funding from the European Union.
"The participants who successfully complete the training have the commitment to hire this company, located in our town and dedicated to the manufacture of packaging and lightweight metal packaging for the food sector," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
Coordinated by the Local Development Agency, this course will be taught in the municipal training center of La Pilica, will have 430 hours and has a maximum capacity of 15 students.
"The training will begin on February 26 and will take place during the morning hours from Monday to Friday until May 17," says Councilman Employment, Angel Gonzalez, who recalls that the registration period ends on February 15 and those interested they must formalize their registration in the City Council.
Promotion of employment
This initiative is part of the employment promotion policy that Torreño City Council develops.
In fact, the last initiatives in this area are two programs of local public employment and another of mixed employment and training.
Subsidized by the Employment and Training Service (SEF) of the regional government with more than 330,000 euros, will involve the hiring of 25 people in unemployment, whose duration ranges from 6 to 12 months.
"In addition, in the last dates we are counting on several of these programs, with objectives such as auxiliary activities of warehouse, cleaning in open spaces and industrial facilities or street cleaning", informs Zapata.
