The Police Tutor Program of Las Torres de Cotillas has given a series of free talks in the last few days at various Primary and Secondary schools in the municipality to discuss the use of social networks and online games, and the associated dangers.
The recipients of these activities have been both young people and their fathers and mothers, and has been affected by the various risks that children face in these media.
"Social networks and Internet games provide our young people with moments of leisure and entertainment, but they are also exposed in those areas to risks that they and their parents must recognize to be able to face them without difficulties", explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata
This Police Guardian program, organized by the Department of Public Safety Torrena and the Local Police of the municipality, has as its main objective to offer a specialized police response to problems that may have children in school and family, through multidisciplinary solutions.
