The second edition of the DeCotilleo Festival of Las Torres de Cotillas has already opened its band contest, which will allow an emerging group of the regional panorama to participate in this event to be held next Saturday, April 13 and in the Juan Baño auditorium.
For this the festival has launched a contest that will allow the fans of the event themselves to decide which group will take the stage on April 13.
Interested bands have until January 31 to register through the Facebook page of the festival.
A contest in which any group can participate, as long as its members are Murcians, over 16 years old, have their own repertoire of about forty minutes, and have not signed with any label, label or representation agency.
"Throughout February you can vote on the Facebook page itself and the winner, in addition to playing live at the festival, will be awarded with a cash prize of 200 euros," explains Councilwoman of Celebrations, Amalia Pérez.
For the entire family
The festival, which will open its doors at noon, is a bet of the Torreño City Council in collaboration with the Ventepijo festival and will feature a musical poster with a marked Murcian accent of all styles.
"This appointment will once again offer a plan for the whole family, with live music and a party for all audiences until dawn," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who reminds that the assistance will be free again.
Last year this day full of music, party and gastronomy, which was attended by about 1,000 people, offered more than 12 uninterrupted hours of pop, rock, indie, rap, electronic, miscegenation, black ... They will also repeat children's shows and the best gastronomic offer at very affordable prices.
