The Department of Social Services of Las Torres de Cotillas has launched again the program of actions for the prevention, monitoring and control of school absenteeism and reduction of school dropout.
"Until next June, more than 900 Secondary students will participate, who will receive various informative talks in their classrooms", explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
The participating centers are the Salvador Sandoval and Florida IES, the Nuestra Señora de la Salceda Professional Training Center and the Monteazahar, Susarte and Divino Maestro schools.
"In addition, this initiative will also be addressed to fathers and mothers through family schools, which will also be open to people interested in the subject," says the councilor of the area, María Dolores Sánchez, who notes that this project has a grant of the Ministry of Education and Universities and the European Social Fund.
