The Works and Services Plan (POS) 2019 of Las Torres de Cotillas has already begun its work and will involve the renovation of sidewalks and the reinforcement of the streets of Santiago Apóstol, Andrea Doria, Julián Andújar and Vicente Medina.
"The sidewalks in this area are very affected by the existence of trees whose roots are causing several damages, making it difficult for existing pedestrian routes," explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who notes that they also do not meet the sufficient width established by law. .
The action began with the felling and felling of these trees, after which they are demolishing the sidewalks of both the curb and the existing pavement.
"The next step is to place the curb curb extending the sidewalks with a minimum of 1.50 meters in compliance with the Law of Accessibility, paving with slab of hydraulic pad unpolished and carrying out the fords in corner according to current regulations", informs the City Councilor for Maintenance of the city, Inmaculada Fernández, who accompanied the mayor in her visit to these works.
The last task is to reinforce the firm in the whole field with the corresponding replacement of the horizontal and vertical signage according to a report from the Local Police, raising all the registration caps at their final level.
