"Rafael, whose appointment had the unanimous agreement of the Board of Directors of the Cabildo Superior de Cofradías, is a person closely linked to Holy Week and has been supporting it for years to give it its best development and splendor", explains the president of the Cabildo, Juan José Ruiz.
The pregonero is currently general manager of Grupo Fuentes, an important regional logistics company with roots in Las Torres de Cotillas.

Rafael Callejas, Nazarene of the Year
The Cabildo Torreño has also unanimously elected the Nazarene of the Year, which this year will be Rafael Callejas.
"He belongs to the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Sorrows for half a century and very active in the organization of the processional processions of our Holy Week," explains Ruiz.
Born in the Albacete municipality of Hellín in 1945, he settled in Las Torres de Cotillas in 1971 and a year later would join his Brotherhood.
Since then his work in favor of collaborating in the aggrandizement of Holy Week has been intense and constant.
