"This initiative financed entirely by the City complete the arrangements in the infrastructure of the municipality that each year are made with the Plan of Works and Services subsidized by the regional government," says the mayor Isabel María Zapata.
"The streets that are already working on the reinforcement of its roadway are Sagunto, Madrid, Fernandez Vera, San Antonio, Moreras, Condomina, Quevedo, Valle Inclan, Campo Abajo, Mula, Ricardo Montes and the Mediterranean / Aegean Sea, as well as Avenida Juan Carlos I, "says City Councilor for Maintenance of the City, Inmaculada Fernández, who explains that the firm of these roads already required this renovation.
It is also planned to reinforce the road in the streets of Rioja, Catalonia, Andalusia and Asturias.
"In addition, there is a stretch on Avenida Juan Carlos I whose sidewalks are affected by numerous irregularities that make it difficult for pedestrians to walk and will be corrected," says the mayor, who says that the municipal water company has also proposed the renewal of the supply network in this section.
More work
In the streets Narciso Yepes -in the section between the streets of Bolivia and Velázquez- and Ángel Molina, this municipal plan contemplates the renovation of both the sidewalks and the road, as well as the supply networks (the first) and sanitation (the second).
"Both streets are very old and the municipal technicians had already specified that these renovation work was necessary," says Fernández.
"There are several stretches of roads with problems of blandones located on the N-344 and the extension of Avenida del Trabajo, so it is necessary to act on them to ensure road traffic," reports the Councilor for Maintenance of the City.
On the other hand, it has been considered necessary to act with measures to reduce speed on the D street of the Los Romeros urbanization and on the La Florida avenue through the placement of speed slowers.
