The frozen food company Fripozo has just begun construction work on its new production center, which is scheduled to be completed by the middle of next year 2020, with an investment of 41 million euros and the creation of 70 new jobs.
The new facilities are located in the zone of industrial expansion of Torres de Cotillas, in the Region of Murcia, and will increase by 175 percent the productive capacity of the company to exceed 44,000 tons per year.
The center will have six lines for the development of food solutions that incorporate the most advanced technology.
The plant has a constructed area of 35,000 m2 on a plot of 200,000 m2.
Fripozo celebrates 30 years since its birth with this clear commitment to growth and to guarantee its future, and that will make it a reference company at European level in the manufacture of food solutions.
The creation of 70 new jobs means a net increase in employment of more than 10 percent, given that the company's current human team consists of 600 people.
This investment is the first part of a project divided into two phases: the second part will be executed in the medium term and will culminate with the transfer of the entire company to the new location.
The main strengths of this organization are the constant innovation together with a philosophy of continuous improvement aimed at giving a better response every day to the needs of its audience formed by customers and consumers, thanks to a range of food solutions that allows them to save time in the kitchen.
The company serves modern distribution and restoration, both traditional and organized, within its main national channels to which an incipient but powerful international market has been incorporated.
Fripozo is integrated into the Grupo Fuertes business holding, one of the most important agri-food groups in Europe.
