The Local Police of Las Torres de Cotillas already has a new sergeant, Diego Pérez, who took office a few days ago in an act chaired by the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
"We want to congratulate his promotion to the new sergeant, who has extensive experience in the body," says the mayor, who notes that Perez joins the chief officer and another sergeant in the command posts of this uniformed body.
"Today the body of the Local Police Torrena has 35 agents and from April 15 begin tests to incorporate four more, three by opposition and another by mobility," says the councilor of Police and Civil Protection, Pedro José Noguera.
Improvement plan
In this line, the Torreño City Council is immersed in an improvement plan for local security bodies.
It contemplates, among other measures, the acquisition of new vehicles for both the Local Police and the Civil Protection body.
"Our commitment to security is firm and, in addition to providing our police with more people and means, we work in many actions in coordination with the Civil Guard, which we remember has a position in our Local Security Center," says the councilor .
