The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has completed the renovation work of the two inner courtyards of the municipal school Virgen de la Salceda.
"The pavement that covered these spaces was rubber and after about 15 years of service was necessary and its replacement because it had a state of generalized deterioration", explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who today visited the facilities on Friday, March 1 to check the satisfactory result of the work.
"It is another of the financially sustainable investments that we are carrying out in the municipality to improve the welfare of our neighbors," says Zapata.
The new floor is made of multilayer pavement and has an anti-static artificial grass finish, increasing the safety of small users when it comes to impacts and falls.
"The best thing is that they tell us that the children of the school are delighted with the new surface," the councilor points out.
