The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has already launched the game of 100,000 euros that the municipal budget 2019 will allocate to the maintenance of schools in the town.
"It is a new departure that was created to be able to improve the facilities of the teaching centers that need it, within the municipal competences", explains the mayor, Isabel María Zapata.
The municipal technicians have already made the corresponding assessments to perform these maintenance tasks and the schools of Infant and Primary in which they will act are the Joaquin Cantero, San Jose, Cervantes, The Park, Valentin Buendia and Vista Alegre.
"Work of all kinds will be carried out, from plumbing, painting, carpentry and electricity to the renovation of toilets, pavements, doors, irrigation networks, trees and even the installation of playgrounds in some of them," says the Councilor for Education, Pedro Cabrera.
"After these works, the City will continue to pay attention to the needs of the schools of the municipality to carry out as many tasks as necessary to make more comfortable the day to day of their students and teachers," says Zapata.
