The petanque players of Las Torres de Cotillas have had more space for a few days to enjoy this sport.
And it is that the municipal tracks, located in the industrial estate San Jorge, have been extended with the conditioning of an area located in the park in front of them.
There, the preparation and compaction of the land has been carried out, with sand and chinarrillo filling, and the marking of numerous tracks.
These works have allowed complementing these municipal facilities, so that now they can house more than 20 tracks for the celebration of official championships and the free practice of petanque.
This sport has a long tradition in Las Torres de Cotillas, thanks in particular to the great work that the club Petanca La Salceda has done for many years and most recently the Uroboros Club Petanque.
