Nearly 200 rugby players from 6 to 14 years old participated on Saturday March 16 in a rugby school championship in the region of Murcia, organized by Las Torres Club de Rugby in the municipal grass field of Las Torres de Cotillas .

The young athletes belonged to the base categories of the following clubs: XV Rugby Murcia, Murcia Rugby University Club, Squalos Mar Menor Rugby Club, U. Cartagena Rugby Club, ITV Vega Baja Orihuela CR, Totana Rugby Club and Lorca Rugby Club.

A great celebration of the sport lived in the Torrena municipal facilities thanks to a sport that has more and more roots in the municipality.

In the organization of this event the Rugby Federation of the Region of Murcia and the Department of Physical Activity and Sports Torrena collaborated.
