This weekend has been held in the sports pavilion of Salvador Sandoval IES Las Torres de Cotillas a specialist psychology course applied to archery.
With 14 hours of duration and divided into two days, this proposal was organized by the Royal Spanish Federation of Archery (RFETA), in collaboration with the regional federation and the Department of Physical Activity and Sports.
Among other aspects, during their theoretical-practical classes the assistants have been able to know the psychological variables that intervene and how they influence the performance of the archery, as well as to improve their results through different psychological techniques applicable to this sport (control of the level of activation, improvement of concentration, establishment of routines, relaxation, etc.).
They have also received training to increase the efficiency of training, improving their motivation and control of care, or to establish a personalized shooting routine and know its benefits.
In addition, this course was valid as part of the training plan to be taken to obtain the title of trainer RFETA.
At its conclusion, the diplomas have been awarded in an act in which the councilor of the area, Ginés Pérez, has participated.
