The young torreño athlete Sergio Jornet has been summoned again by the absolute Spanish team of combined events for a rally that will take place between 17 and 21 April in Sierra Nevada (Granada).
Jornet debuted with the "Roja" in January 2017 in an international match played in the Czech Republic and returned a year later in another international event on indoor track in Madrid.
There an injury not only did not let him perform to the fullest, but later he has had it blank for almost a year.
Jornet, specialist of this modality from the base categories, hoards in his list of different regional titles.
In fact, the Torreño was proclaimed a few days ago absolute regional champion of heptathlon.
Sergio, diagnosed with diabetes at age 11, returned to his privileges and achieved two personal best marks (6'94 '' in 60 meters and 12'89 meters in shot put), which shows the great state of shape has validated this new call with the national team.
