Las Torres de Cotillas will host this weekend the Interscout 2019, event that will bring together 750 boys and girls from 11 to 14 years old and is organized by the scout group Itaca Torreño, the local council and the Scout Federation of Murcia.
All planned activities will be developed in the facilities of the municipal sports center, as well as in the park of La Emisora ​​from 10 am on Saturday at 4:30 pm on Sunday.
The event - presented this week in the municipality by the general director of Youth, Fran Sánchez - proposes a Scout Olympiad set in Greek culture.
In them the groups will compete among themselves in a dozen individual tests and other so many of competition between teams.
As in all the activities organized by the scout groups, it is about educating young people in values ​​through leisure activities and free time.
This event is framed in the meetings held by the Federation Explorers of Murcia in each age section, corresponding to the scout section (previously called troop).
