The municipal library Rosa Contreras of Las Torres de Cotillas will take to the streets to celebrate the day of the book, which is commemorated every year on April 23.

For this purpose, it will carry out open-air library extension activities to publicize the services it offers, which will be mainly aimed at children.

Thus, on Wednesday, April 24 (5:30 pm) will hold a free handicraft workshop in the municipal park of the Constitution.

This activity will be repeated at the same time the next day, Thursday, April 25, in the municipal park Paco Rabal.

Reading animation prize

This initiative is part of the line of work of the municipal library Torrena, which in fact has been awarded for the third consecutive year in the national contest 'María Moliner' of projects of animation to reading.

An award granted one more year by the Ministry of Culture, which recognizes the work of the professionals of this facility, always in coordination with the municipal area of ​​Culture.
