The Divine Master School of Las Torres de Cotillas celebrated one more year its traditional procession of Los Pasitos, a parade that took place on the morning of Friday, April 12 and whose goal is the same as always: bring the Semana Santa Torrena to the most small, make them feel protagonists and that they share their faith rooting local traditions.
This procession made its usual route, first inside the school and then along the main street to the delight of relatives, teachers, neighbors and friends.
A date in which both costumes and thrones and even the smallest detail are made by students, parents and teachers of the center.
As every year, the procession began with students in 3rd grade of Primary dressed as Romans, after which three-year-old students dressed in Hebrews preceded La Borriquita with its triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
After the three-year-old schoolchildren procession with the three crosses of Mount Calvary.
Behind, Santa Marcela -known popularly as La Verónica- and La Dolorosa were accompanied by the students of 1 and 3 years respectively.
To finish the procession, the students of the second grade of primary school accompanied the Resurrected Jesus.
"We want to thank all families, the Local Police, Civil Protection and the City of Las Torres de Cotillas for their effort, collaboration and disinterested involvement," they say from the center.
