The City of Las Torres de Cotillas has launched the second phase of the works to adapt the urban environment of the commercial area of ​​the Los Vicentes neighborhood.
Some works that will involve the adaptation of the existing pavement and the renovation of urban furniture in the two blocks located between Goya and Velázquez streets.
The paving of the environment was in poor condition due to its age, with an abundant surface irregularity due to continuous recesses in different areas.
Also, the pavement of the sidewalks was not uniform, coexisting an amalgam of pavements that detracted from the urban environment of the commercial area, and the urban furniture also offered a defective state due to the continued use.
About 38,000 euros
The first step of these works has been the demolition of the existing pavement and the curb curb, after which the curb has been placed at its final level and the extension of a 10 cm concrete slab.
On this will be placed the final paving of prefabricated concrete paving stones and different colors, placing the same anti-slip material shot-peeled in the fords of the pedestrian crossings.
These tasks will have a game of about 38,000 euros that has both municipal contribution and the regional government.
