The Orion archery club Las Torres de Cotillas, in collaboration with the Department of Physical Activity and Sport, has recently completed a new edition of the initiation course to archery.
With a duration of 27 hours, this training has involved aspirants from different parts of our region aged between 32 and 54 years.
In this course, taught on Saturday afternoons in the IES Salvador Sandoval pavilion, participants were not required to have previous knowledge in this discipline.
The students have been able to learn the technique of archery, know the material used and the different types of bow used, as well as the necessary safety measures.
The initiation course to the archery is obligatory step to obtain a valid license to practice this sport.
The next course at Las Torres de Cotillas will begin in September with limited places for ten participants.
