Everyone on the street to celebrate the day of the book.
That has been the successful idea of ​​the Rosa Contreras municipal library in Las Torres de Cotillas, which this week has held two outdoor workshops to commemorate this date that is celebrated every year on April 23.
Intended for children and focused on crafts, these workshops were held on Wednesday, April 24 at the Parque de la Constitución and on Thursday, April 25 at the Paco Rabal Park.
In addition, during these activities of library extension has been used to publicize both physical and online services offered by the Torreña library between young and old, as well as to give a bookmark commemorative of this day.
Likewise, the children had the opportunity to read open-air books throughout the park taking advantage of the good weather, which was very well received.
Reading animation prize
This initiative is part of the line of work of the municipal library Torrena, which in fact has been awarded for the third consecutive year in the national contest 'María Moliner' of projects of animation to reading.
An award granted one more year by the Ministry of Culture, which recognizes the work of the professionals of this facility, always in coordination with the municipal area of ​​Culture.
