The peña Rincon Pulpitero of Las Torres de Cotillas has everything ready to celebrate its XXVII Romería Rociera.

The program of activities was presented on Tuesday, May 7 at the Torreño City Council, in an act that was chaired by the mayor, Isabel María Zapata, and the secretary of the peña, Pedro Martínez.

The acts will begin next week with the sixth edition of the free intensive sevillanas course, which will take place on Monday 13 and Wednesday 15 May (19:30 hours) and will be directed by Merche (616745534). Friday, May 17 the inauguration (21 hours) of the enclosure will be carried out in the neighborhood of Los Pulpites, as well as the opening of the barracks and the children's attractions.

Next, the program of the XXVII Pilgrimage Rociera will be read and the imposition of medals will take place and the Rociero Festival will take place with the performances of the Sevillanas group Alameda del Rincón and the musical group Esencia de la Calle.

More activities

The activities on Saturday, May 18, will start at the venue with Happy Hour (12 hours), an aperitif of the XXVII Romería Rociera in the afternoon.

At 5:00 pm there will be a gathering of participants in the Hermitage of La Cruz, to depart at 17:30 hours to the church of Our Lady of Salceda to present the Virgin to the patron saint Torrena, where the Salve rociera.

At 7:00 pm the pilgrimage is scheduled to arrive at the Los Pulpites site, and for a half hour later, a Mass with the Blanca Paloma will be held at the Church of the Assumption.

Then he will return to the festivities to listen to the proclamation of the poetess Carmen Montero almonte (20'30 hours), anteroom of the XXVII night Rociera (21'30 hours) which will feature the group Alameda del Rincón and dance school Amalia Abenza

At the end, those present will be able to enjoy a tasting of donuts. The last day of events will take place on Sunday, May 19, which at 11 am will have a children's pilgrimage through the streets of Los Pulpites.

At 12:30 hours, the launching of corners and olive bone championships are scheduled, to conclude at 2:30 pm with a tasting of paellas in the festive area.
