The Consortium for the Extinction of Fire and Rescue of the Autonomous Community of Murcia (CEIS) has chosen the municipal facilities of Las Torres de Cotillas to carry out their internal aquatic rescue training.

These activities consist of both theoretical part, which takes place in the Civil Protection units, as practice, which takes place in the sports center and in the pool.

Until June 26 every week Murcia firefighters will participate in this initiative, which has the collaboration of Torreño City Council.

The CEIS currently has a workforce close to 300 firefighters, whose main task is the service of fire prevention and extinction, and rescue in case of accidents.
