Tomorrow, Friday, May 17 (5:30 pm) Las Torres de Cotillas will celebrate World Recycling Day in the Parque de la Constitución.
It will do so with a proposal with free assistance developed by the Department of Environment, focused mainly on raising awareness among children, where there will be no shortage of activities, workshops and gifts.
In the Torreño park this celebration will be distributed in different points of activity.
In one of them the participants will paint to know the importance of good use of the containers and the deposit of the correct waste.
Another point will propose paintings of animals and plants, while there will be no shortage of eco-games and table games.
In another of the spaces children will make toys, pots and bracelets with recycled materials, both to raise awareness about the problem in seas and oceans by the contamination of plastics and the recycling of paper and plastic.
Reduce, reuse and recycle
UNESCO declared May 17 as the world day of recycling as an opportunity to remember the strategy of reducing, reusing and recycling, which seeks to reorient the behavior of all citizens with a view to improving the environment.
On this day, framed in the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, collaborate Urbaser, Ecoembes, Federation of Municipalities of the Region of Murcia and group Ithaca scout.
