The municipal sports center of Las Torres de Cotillas will have a children's playground to complete its leisure offer.

The works for the installation of this recreational area, chosen in the process of participatory budgets 2019, have already begun and will have an investment of municipal close to 20,000 euros.

"We have taken advantage of a space without use, located behind the stands of the paddle courts," explains the acting mayor, Isabel María Zapata.

After the adequate preparation of the land, these works will involve the installation of three playgrounds (tower-forest, orange pier and rocker), two concrete benches with rounded edges, a wastebasket and two enclosure metal fence modules.

"In addition, an elastic polystyrene expanded base will be placed in the protection area of ​​each children's game and artificial turf on the entire surface of the enclosure," says the Councilor for Physical Activity and Sports, Ginés Pérez.
