Today, Friday, June 7, the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) has gone out into the street to carry out its traditional day of collection and information among the inhabitants of Las Torres de Cotillas.
For this the local board of this entity has installed a stand in the weekly market, where its volunteer staff has raised funds for the annual activity of the association and has informed everyone who has approached about the work they do to fight against this disease.
"In Spain, the AECC serves about half a million patients suffering from this disease, in which both prevention and research are two basic tools," explains the acting mayor, Isabel María Zapata, who has visited this information stand and has highlighted that "the Junta Torrena of the AECC is very active in Las Torres de Cotillas".
