The Cultural Week of the peña L'Almazara of Las Torres de Cotillas reaches its 34th edition this year, an appointment that was presented today, Thursday, July 4, at the local Town Hall.
The event was chaired by the mayor Torreño, Joaquin Vela Fernandez, the councilman of Culture, Antonio Contreras Martinez, and representatives of the own rock.
This Cultural Week will be held in the Esplanade Maestro Don Angel Palazón, will have free and free assistance, and will be presented every night by the radio announcers María José Sánchez and Marisol Ibáñez.
The evening will begin next Tuesday, July 9 (22 hours) with a proposal of Murcian folklore.
This will have the participation of the group of choirs and dances Antoñete Gálvez of the Peña El Ciazo (Torreagüera), and the appointment of the honorary member, a position that this year falls to the Olmedo Muñoz family.
In addition, it will proceed to the coronation of the new godmothers of the peña: Victoria Martínez (major), Nuria Sandoval (juvenile) and Helena Garrido (infantile).
The musical brooch will be put by the rancheras of Carlos and Isaac and their mariachis, and the voice of Carmen Saura.
More evenings
The program will continue on Wednesday, July 10 (22 hours) with a night in which the rhythm dance school of Las Torres de Cotillas will perform, which has won several national medals, and the rondalla and choirs Al son del Mar Menor.
A festival of folklore for children is the proposal for Thursday, July 11 (22 hours), which will have the participation of the schools of choirs and dance groups Siete Coronas of the Peña La Crilla (Puente Tocinos, Murcia), Niño Jesús of Balate de la peña La Alegría Muleña (Mula) and peña L'Almazara.
The evening will conclude with the special touch that will put the magic show of José María Alcázar.
The Spanish song and flamenco will be the protagonists of the Francisco García García festival (Friday, July 12, 22 hours), which will offer the rumbas and sevillanas of the chorus rociero de Freila (Granada) and the flamenco songs of the dance academy Víctor Campos ( Las Torres de Cotillas).
In addition, the night will end with the tribute to Raphael and Camilo Sesto offered by singer Roberto Navarro.
The last night of this 34th Cultural Week of the L'Almazara peña will take place on Saturday July 13 (22 hours).
A night for which the national folklore show Joaquín Fernández Dólera has been programmed, with the assistance of the groups of choirs and dances Cantares Viejos de Requena (Valencia), Barrio Tinajero de Villarrobledo (Albacete) and Virgen de la Salceda (L ' Oil press).
An evening that will be attended by representatives of the Peñas Huertanas Federation and the queen of the children's garden, who will attend with their bridesmaids.
