The patron saint 2019 of Las Torres de Cotillas will have a Raspajo designed by Jesús Pastor.
He has been the winner of the traditional drawing contest organized by the Department of Celebrations, which seeks the image for this large cardboard scarecrow that represents a human figure with elements of the garden and whose burning ends every year Torreño celebrations.
"The winner has earned a 100 euro voucher from the Las Torres Business Area, which he will be able to spend in his associated stores", explains the Councilman of Festejos, Francisco José Caravaca Bravo, who stresses that the Raspajo is a figure that every year honors the important past huertano of Las Torres de Cotillas.
In addition, with that drawing the local artisans Pedro Fermín López and Rubén Fernández will build the great ninot that will preside from the Plaza Maestro Don Ángel Palazón Torreñas parties.
"Pastor will receive his award on Friday, August 23 at the gala presentation that will take place in the municipal auditorium Juan Baño", points the mayor, who remembers that the winner will also be given a raspajo of small dimensions designed by artisans.
