The Carmen neighborhood of Las Torres de Cotillas began on Thursday, July 11, the 2019 festivities in honor of its patron saint.
And he did it with a varied evening, in which the central dish was the choice of his queens.
Three girls - Inés Ennaji Sadiki, Yadira Giménez Gil and Alina Leppenen - were the chosen ones as the representatives of these celebrations and they were imposed the corresponding band that during these days they will wear.
In addition, the attendees were able to enjoy different choreographies, raffles, a tasting of monas with chocolate and a zumba master class taught by Rebeca Amalia.
Today, Friday, July 12, activities have begun mid-morning with a bicycle parade, whose participants have received ice cream to combat the heat.

A petanque contest (10 hours) will open the activities on Saturday July 12, which will continue at the neighborhood bar at noon with a proposal of tapas for 2 euros (beer and tapa) and a children's party in the neighborhood park with mats (5:30 pm).

The last day of these celebrations in honor of the Virgen del Carmen will be Sunday, July 14, which will begin with a rociera pilgrimage (10:30 am) that will be the prelude to a neighborhood aperitif ( 14 hours).
To conclude, at 8:30 p.m. the neighborhood center will host the celebration of a mass, at whose conclusion the streets of the neighborhood will be the scene of the traditional procession of the patron saint.
